We are very pleased to announce that the University of Bristol Alumni Foundation has given us a very generous grant to purchase more kitesurfing equipment in 2011, just in time for Portugal! Does your club or society need help with funding? Got a great idea for a project? Then the Alumni Foundation would love to hear from you. University is about so much more than just studying and the Alumni Foundation supports the extra-curricular activities that make Bristol such an exciting and vibrant place to be. Sports clubs, cultural societies, theatre productions, new magazines: all of these and more have been funded in the past.
The home of our socials this year is the epic Shisha Mashup on Thursday nights at Po Na Na on the Triangle. Start your weekend early with BUKS and the Shisha Mashup every other Thursday starting 13th October. Free Shisha in the courtyard all night long. Expect to hear the latest hits with a cool edge all mashed up with classics thrown in for good measure, indie, rock, rnb, electro, dance, hip hop, funk and plentiful remixes all in the name of dancing. All our socials will start here at the best bar on Whiteladies Road: Alterego. We meet here upstairs every other Thursday starting wtih our huge BUKS 2011/12 Launch Night on the 13th October. The University of Supersaturated, part of the Supersaturated lifestyle brand, is sponsoring our university clothing. A committed team of artists and screen printers who have worked alongside Graham our stash sec to help design our official club clothing. The Superstaturated brand is getting a good reputation for providing ethical clothing for the committed lifestyle and their 'University of' division has helped provide an online service for all our members. This year we will have 20 free shirts for the first paid new memberships to the club, and if you miss that we can do bulk orders via the official website a few weeks into the first term.

The SKA run three massive inter-uni competions on their National Tour each year as well as organising girls only, beginner and intemediate clinics. Bristol are regular attendees of all of these wicked events! Keep an eye on their website but you'll hear about all of their events through us first, along with our help in getting you there!
