Throughout 2011/12, day and weekend trips with beginners tuition available will be running every 2-3 weeks to South Wales and the South Coast throughout the first two terms. Alongside this we'll be wakeboarding and weekly kite flying sessions and BBQs for the beginners or just for the banter when we have wind! The first big weekend trip (The SKA Beginners Event) will be the 14th-16th October 2011 (Put it in your diary!)

These are normally held at lunchtime at our sponsor the Real Wrap Co on the Triangle, join us for a discounted lunch! Your place isn't secured until you've paid. Any remaing spaces are then opened up to anyone not signing up before the dealine.

 

PORTUGAL 2012

For 2012 we'll be heading back to Alvor, most likely in the first week of the Easter holidays (24th March - 3rd April 2012) TBC!

It's time to start getting massively excited... we will soon be taking bookings for our Easter trip abroad! The committee has been hard at work investigating every kitesurf spot within a 5 hour flight of the UK, to find the best balance of temperature, sweet winds, cost and lash to make this an unforgettable trip! We've finally settled on the town of Alvor in Portugal. It's a sick spot nestled between Faro and Lagos at the western tip of the Algarve.  There is a huge flat water shallow lagoon, open sea on the south side and it's only a short bus trip to the west coast for big waves. Making this spot perfect for beginners, advanced freestylers and wave-riders alike!

This trip price will include:
- Airport Transfers in Portugal
- Amazing Self Catered Accommodation inc. swimming pool.
- 9 days Kitesurfing!
- Travel Insurance (Including personal injury for Kitesurfing)

You will need to book indepedantly:
- Flights from Bristol Airport to Faro Airport with EasyJet (We will all travel together however)
- If flying from Bristol with us: Coach Transfers from Triangel/Bus Station/Temple Meads(£10 return - pay in cash on the day)
- BKSA Kitesurfing Liability Insurance: This is something that every kitesurfer should have and costs £28 for students and is valid for 1 year in the UK and abroad. You will need this if you are coming on the trip and we reccomend you get it ASAP if you are regularly coming on our trips. 

SO ABSOLUTE TOTAL COST TO YOU:  £340 TBC- Not bad for 10 days kitesurfing in the sun!
